My empires greatest achievment is Hammurabis code. My other empires achievment is Agriculture and trade. Hammurabies code is important because it made people safer. Although it did not treat all people equally in terms of laws and punishments, it was the first code of laws to apply to everyone. Agriculture and trade flourished and Hammurabi carefully kept irrigation systems working and provided plenty of food.

One of the Babylonians greatest achievements in life was the Hammurabi’s code.
IMPORTANCE TO BABYLONIANS:
This strengthened the empire because it was the first code of laws to be ever made in human history. I think that is were we made up our laws from kind of.

One of the other achievements of the Babylonians was that we were able to trade.

This achievment was important because after deafeating the king of Ur he was now ruler of Mesopatamia including Sumer Another achievment by the akkadians was their three dimensional sculptures and their language that replaced Sumer language.These achievments were important to them because they were known for there three dimensiolnal sculptures because htey were one of the first people to create this new kind of art. These are some achievments from the Akkadians.
November 27th, 2007 at 7:12 pmI have been learning about the Babylonian Empire in the past week.One of the greatest achivments of the empire was to be able to manage agriculture and trading all over their land.This was important to them because it was a way to have jewels, food, and many other things. It was like a survival skill. Another of their great achivments was to be able to make the code of laws. This was important to the Babylonian empire because of the benefits that it brought. The benifits were that they were in a safer place because who ever broke the law recieved very hurting punishment like death or many other things. It helped the people because this was a law and who ever broke it always ende up paying back to whoever was the person that was hurt during breaking the law. Not only was that why it was important but also that it kept the people safe and the empire stronger.

Our greayest acievements are weapons and war stratagies.Weapons strengthed the assyrians becouse if anyone tried to harm them or there empire they will kill them or do something else. Other empires did not even mess with them becouse they were afraid.

The weapon where inportant because they helped them with protection and for cutting meat. They had hammers,knifes,and arrows. They used war stucture fo attaking other villages. There inventions where bulling rams and tower. They used tower to for jumping over there kingdom. So they where like tall escelators.
my empire was the akkadains one of their greatest achievements was creating the world’s first empire the reason that is important their would not be any for empires for example, assyerains which means their would not be any weapons,war stratagies etc…
the other one was replacing the other language the reason that is important was, it gave us power and it was a process of the language.

November 27th, 2007 at 7:51 pmThe frist thing i choose is babylonian empire.The reason why i pick this one is because our group has been working on it and i always thouht it was detail like this one.Babylonains traed with people all along the persian gulf.And the second thing i want to choose isAssyrian empire. The reason why i pick this one is i always thouhgt it was intersting like. The akkadians came from northen mesopotamia.They were led by a great king named sargon.
Our greatest achievements was using a sundial to tell time using the sun,made the hanging gardens,and had powerful empire.The sundial was a carved stone that casted a shadow on the other side of the stone while the other side was facing the sun.The sundial was very useful for us to keep track of time,day,week,month,season,and year.The hanging gardens were planted on top of an old ziggurat that was rebuilt and had several stories high that had bushes,flowers,and trees from the rooftop to the walls.The Neo-babylonian empire only lasted for seventy five years.

November 27th, 2007 at 9:20 pmI’ve learned that empires were big and some were tough.The empire i’m working with is Akkadians.The Akkadian empire was the first empire ever known.That was there first achievment.There second achievment is that they were the first writers and artists.There empire was strong and the king wanted the empire to stay strong for 1000 years.But the empire got weaker and weaker and one day the empire came to fall.So that is what I learned.

The four Mesopotamia Empire’s are the Akkadian Empire, the Babylonian Empire, Assyrian Empire, and the Neobabylonian Empire. The Akkadian Empire’s first achievment is when king Sargon made a large army. The second achievment was that king Sargon created the word’s first empire. The Babylonian’s King first achievment was after conquering the rest of Mesopotamia, he made the Babylonian the capital of his empier. His second achievment was that he maid new laws. The Assyrians first achievment is that they were the first to use battering arms. There second achievment is that the Assyrians also built movable towers that they could be rolled up to a city’s walls.The Neobabylonian first achievment is that they invented the sundyale.There second achievment was that they rebuilt the city’s Ziggurat.
