I’m a 6th grade teacher and I’m really crazy! I like snowboarding, girly movies, volleyball, and pizza. I don’t like dishonesty, pickles, and cranky people. I look forward to having lots of fun this year.

Hi my name is Salvador Mena and I am in sixth grade and I really like all of my teachers. When I was smaller all of the older kids used to call me twig because I was so skinny. I really enjoy playing basketball. I had played basketball for around six years. My favorite food is pizza, ice cream, and chocolate. September 18th, 2007 at 7:50 pmpicked thecanyon becouse it is incredible how water so powerfully pushes against rock and molds into a canyon.The waterfall seems so amazing becouse the water has so much power to pull you in to.What a waterfall basically is were a river fals into a much lower level.A cayon is a place in between mountains which is carved by a river that is most likely gone.
The 2 most interesting landforms are the canyon becuase it looks nice ad it is a good place to take a hike or go on a trip.the second most interesting land form is the archipelogo becauseit looks awsome because its amazing how all of the islands are in a chain like that.

Archipelago and Atoll
The two most interesting landforms that I chose are Archipelago and an Atoll. An Archipelago is a large group or chain of islands. The reason I found that Archipelagos are interesting is because one of the movies I have, called Island of The Sharks talks about sharks surrounding an Archipelago around Costa Rica, and the islands look really beautiful and they have a lot of coral reefs surrounding them that I would find interesting to visit and explore. An Atoll is a ring shaped coral reef or a string of closely spaced small coral islands, enclosing or nearly enclosing a shallow lagoon. This is like some of the coral reefs that surround Archipelagos that I would like to visit and I really think it is interesting because I can’t imagine a coral reef being that huge and also because you can find so many sea creatures in and around the coral. That is why I find these two landforms the most interesting!

A fjord is a long,narrow sea inlet that is a bordered by steep cliff.A lake is a large body of water surrounded by land on all sides.Really huge lakes are often connected two larger landmasses.An ithmus has water ontwo sides.The fjord reminded me of the Grand Canyon and the lake reminded me of Lake Balboa Park.

They are prehistoric men that use to live in caves. Caveman are portrayed by being hairy and there clothing was skinned animal skin. There weaponds were made out of bones. There mind was not tha out going like our mind. They did not new how to speak well. They drew in rocks and carved the rocks.
